As you requested at our March 4 meeting, the
Community Outreach department has devised an innovative plan that will take the
Corbin-Pettus Corporation to the next level. The CO team has communicated via
email and slight changes have been made that I thought would be suitable for
the company. We came up with short term and long term goals, as well as answers
to the company mission statement.
Celena
Snoody- Education
The education department of the community outreach
sector strives to educate citizens of our society on the importance of
combating the exploitation of women around the world. Our goal is to reach out
to surrounding areas, such as schools and other groups, and educate individuals
on the exploitation of women, and how to help stop this epidemic. We strive to present women, specifically
African American, in a positive light.
Our goal is to create awareness and inform others with constructive
knowledge to build the image of women as a whole.
Charity Taylor-Event
Planner
The event organizer will create events to uplift
the African American female community. The event organizer will do this by
creating events that will raise funds to ultimately start an annual African
American Women's Conference.
Short term goal- Start creating events that will
raise money.
Long term goal- Have an annual African American
Women's conference held in different African American communities.

We as servants of the community have your best
interest. As a community organizer we will put our best efforts forth to help
maintain events, forums, and extracurricular activities. It is very important
to our staff that we make sure that you as our community members are satisfied.
We vow to extend ourselves to anyone who needs support and help. A community
organizer is an individual that shows interest in keeping the community in
great spirits. We will provide for you and show you that you are our number one
priority.

The mission of the Community Outreach Department
for Corbin-Pettus Corporation is to make it known what this company stands
for. RECREATING (Her) Image;
OurBodiesOurSay are definitely for the empowerment of women but it does not
just stop there. The founders and workers want to end the exploitation of women
everywhere, and break barriers of women for all ethnicities and demographics.
As a member of the Community Outreach Department
this unit brings the closure. Anything that is needed to be finished the
community outreach must complete the tasks.
Individually my task is to communicate inside and outside of the
organization to assure everything is flowing well
In response to the company mission statement the
Community Outreach team will contribute to the fight against the exploitation
of women by reaching out to the different communities where poverty high and
means of education is low. Our mission is to complement the service of
Recreating (Her) Image; Our Bodies our Say through education, culture
development, literature, and the advancement of social awareness. The Community
Outreach sector will strive to educate citizens on the importance of combating
the exploitation of women around the world. Our goal is to reach out to
surrounding areas, such as schools and other groups, and educate individuals on
awareness and constructive knowledge to build the image of women as a whole. We
strive to present women, specifically African American, in a positive light.
Long term goals of the Community Outreach team
include creating recreation centers in inner cities for not only women, but for
everyone in the community. The centers will replicate something similar to
YMCA. Our centers will offer rehabilitation workshops for women who have been
exploited in their communities. Another project that will benefit the people of
the community will to have annual street fairs where different vendors (food,
clothes, art…etc.) can sell their pieces/food. Our short term goals include
mentorship programs through the schools in the communities. Those successors in
the community will serve as mentors to students in the community. Camping trips
and monthly trips to different museums will help bring the community and
